About the Job
Main Job Duties:
Performs finished product microbial testing.
Performs microbial testing of raw materials and solutions.
Performs microbial testing of Primary packaging materials.
Performs environmental monitoring of plant controlled areas.
Develops and validates the microbiological test methods.
Documentation and reporting of microbiological tests.
Performs test strains subculture.
Prepares cultures and biological indicator solutions used for plant validation and product development studies.
Monitors Temperature, Differential pressure and cleaning of the micro. Lab.
Preparation and sterilization of test media and instruments.
Sampling of raw materials and primary packaging materials.
Technical administration and operation of the microbiology laboratory including environmental, Health & Safety and training.
Handling of disposal and safely destruction of laboratory hazard and non-hazard disposal.
Maintaining microbiology approved controlled records.
