Job description
Lead the validation of HSE and security programs to ensure 100% compliance with local regulatory requirements.Drive improvements in site HSE/Security culture, awareness and accountability.
Oversee compliance assurance program, perform site audits and lead efforts with management team to implement corrective actions.
Conduct incident /accident investigations and develop corrective and preventative action plans using the Root Cause Analysis techniques.
Ensure full regulatory environmental compliance by providing research and support to ensure site processes and technical projects meet all safety requirements.
Assist establishing, job safety analysis, emergency preparedness and response, chemical management, environmental aspect analysis, safety and health risk analysis.
Engages in the evaluation of equipment design, administrative procedures and training requirements to establish best management practices for the assigned locations.
Plan, design and implement environmental strategies and procedure related to reducing waste, recycling and energy /natural resource conservation and reduction.
Ensure transportation compliance with company policies or procedures for product delivery.
Participate in transportation management processes, such as selection, qualification, or performance evaluation as required.
Establish or monitor specific supply chain-based performance measuring systems as it relates to HSE/Security.
Developing, implementing and maintaining Transportation Truck program and policies to meet or exceed compliance with industry standards for all Logistic operations, to include training.
Daily inspection of company premises to insure safety, and security procedures are in place and in compliance.
Maintain site compliance database, incident management database, action item database and HSE/S calendar including routine reporting, audits and permit renewals.
Act as liaison between Security Account manager, operations Manager and Security officers
Main Requirements:
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 7-10 years in HSE role
Required Industry Experience: 10-15 years diverse experience in dynamic HSE /Security role
Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, RCRA, TUV, VAWD.
Compliance and auditing background with strong interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with local environmental reporting and permitting.
Must be able to interpret, understand and train on government regulations in a clear and concise manner.
