HR BUSINESS PARTNER At Abbot
PURPOSE OF ROLE:
To support the business by providing an efficient and effective overall HR Generalist service to Egypt team.
To ensure alignment between HR Strategy and the business strategies.
To support the business in delivering the overall appropriate people management solutions.
Support all HR related policies, assignments, projects in alignment with Egypt strategy.
To act as a proactive partner to assigned Managers ensuring high level of service excellence and support.
Communicates with and advises Managers regarding all HR related practices, policies and procedures thereby providing an efficient partnering service to stakeholders and enhancing the established business relationship.
Coordinates and co-facilitates position grading process and management of compensation proposals ensuring compliance with Abbott’s remuneration policies.
Responsible for the preparation and submission of the annual salary / benefits surveys (Towers Watson/Mercer).
Maintenance of medical & life insurance plans for affiliate including annual renewal negotiations & logistics.
Responsible for recruitment and selection process of relevant teams and stakeholders including working effectively on Workday system.
Help managers to calibrate and differentiate performance and potential candidates and counsel managers to own and be accountable for honest and accurate performance enhancing feedback to improve the talent bench.
Responsible of yearly certification and maintenance of Compliance records.
Responsible for legal correspondence and follow up with third party legal counselor.
Partner in affiliate initiatives that will support in attraction and retention of employees.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor degree of relevant discipline
5+ years of HR Generalist role
Corporate multinational background is a must – healthcare industry experience is a plus
Perfect English language skills
Broad knowledge of HR lifecycle and Egyptian labor law
Attention to details and ability to set priorities
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, tasks and deadlines at the same time
Interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional teams and foster team commitment to tasks
