Enterprise Applications Support Specialist At Banque du Caire
Handle all daily Enterprise applications services incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs and ensuring a high Service availability and act as an owner of BDC application services.
Manage and maintain all application services in order to provide reliable service according to the SLA.
End to end service ownership which will require interaction with business, infra, security and vendors.
Ensure monitoring is in place for all supported services.
Follow the ITIL process.
Ensure to meet high systems performance and availability for all the backend systems excluding planned outage.
Follow-up on the daily health checks and fix problems once they appear on a server.
Insure to solve assigned Trouble Tickets (TTS) for the supported systems within SLA.
Clear notification for any production problems - IR report
Escalate and communicate raised issues to right support team.
Keep up to date with the new product versions and new releases.
Transfer the knowledge to the first line of support.
Transfer the knowledge to the new comers in the support team.
Ensure to use the preproduction environment for testing activities before launching a new service.
Ensure to maintain the preproduction environment similar to the production platform.
Managing any crisis related to the system
Follow the crisis management process
Minimum 2-4 years of professional IT work experience in IT application support.
Solid Linux / windows background
WebSphere / Tomcat administration
ITIL Foundation v3 Certificate is a must
ITIL Intermediate Certificate is a plus
Experience in Similar role i.e (Operation Handling)
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or Communication Engineering.
