Applications Deployment officer /Sr. Officer At CIB Bank
Description
1. Perform the deployment on production applications including new modules, fixes, enhancements & upgrades
2. Follow applications deployment process and procedures for more control on production applications
3. Provide on-spot solutions for system technical problems during the deployments on production applications and act as first line contact for application deployment related inquiries and issues
4. Support the preparation of key presentations, strategy documentation and other documents
5. Make sure of the packages version control and keep records of the deployments of production applications
6. Coordinate with change management team for proper control over production applications
7. Assist in developing and implementation of application deployment plan. Identify defects and inform them to the concerned stakeholders
8. Simulate application production deployments on Preprod environment providing the end result to concerned stakeholders.
9. Work with Application Management and Development teams to deploy and troubleshoot the relevant applications throughout deployment life-cycle and support post-deployment sanity testing done by IT/Business stakeholders
10. Prepare changes prerequisites prior to production deployment and create backup packs to be used in case of deployment rollback is required.

11. Follows all relevant department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Day- to-day operations
12. Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the IT Operations department to ensure continuity of work
Compliance:
13. Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal CIB policies and code of conduct in order to maintain CIB’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
Qualifications & Experience:
§ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering / Computer Science or its equivalent
Officer :2-3 Years and
Sr. Officer: 4-6 years of relevant IT experienc
Very Good hands-on knowledge of IT technical knowledge
Very Good knowledge of banking applications
Skills:
Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skill
Very good command of English language.
Very good reasoning and analytical skills Able to influence without authority
Excellent problem solving skills
