Non-Sterile Production Section Head
JOB PURPOSE:
Supervise day to day activities of the production process in the liquid area with ensuring strict implementation of the GMP & HSE rules and performance objectives to fulfill the production plan with optimum resources.
Management of the area and team ensuring team development, resources availability and allocation and maintaining the Equipment and production areas at the needed level
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Managing and supervising the operations in packaging section, with the required quality, safety measures related to Sanofi guidelines & according to cGMP rules.
Supervising the packaging team (Pharmacists, supervisors & operators) & .Defining the needed resources and its optimum allocation.
Coaching of the pharmacists and Supervisors Responsible for new projects and Validation processes
Aligning with Quality team and Engineering all the calibration and preventive maintenance activities in liquid area
Ensure implementation of measures for fulfillment of packaging department production plan.
Prevention of mix-up and cross contamination during manufacturing processes.
Updating / Creating SOPs.
Reporting any deviation occurring during manufacturing processes.
Ensure the coverage of key positions in the area; with the providing of the sufficient training for all the team.
Ensure the implementation of all processes required in the area and related to the other supporting departments (e.g. APRs, Calibration, PM plan implementation,…etc.)
Reporting any problems in utilities /machines during the production process
Assuring complied environmental monitoring to start manufacturing (differential pressures, temperature, and humidity) during the process.
Ensure implementation of all SOPs governing the activities in the area.
Support the validation and qualification activities.
Respect of company values, code of ethics and Social charter.
HSE Responsibilities:
Applying the machine safety checklist on regular basis.
Ergonomics training on regular basis.
Commitment to the appropriate PPE use
Ensures that risk assessment to any new transferred product and new machine is adequately covered.
Continuous monitoring to the first aid boxes
Executing waste management measures for optimum utilization of resources.
Follow the approved HSE policy and requirements.
Follow all the statutory legalization concerning Health, Safety and environmental law.
JOB-HOLDER’s ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy.
Minimum 8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical industry, of which at least 5 in Production department
Successful Performance Records
Good Computer skills.
Excellent Command of English

Good Communication Skills
GMP knowledge
Knowledge of HSE rules and regulations
