Job Purpose
Manage & monitor the Bank's Automated Teller Machine
(ATM) placement, services, profitability and effectiveness. Recommends &
implement ATM Channel strategic roadmap to take advantage of business
opportunities, technology, and ATM network enhancements.
Key Accountabilities
-Corporate Governance: Ensure all activities comply with
corporate governance & regulatory/legal frameworks
-People Management: - Develop, supervise, motivate and coach
people in line with succession & career planning requirements, - Implementing
and tracking the core values and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the ATM
channel.
-Planning: Develop, recommend & implement ATM Channel
strategic roadmap to take advantage of business opportunities, technology,
& ATM network enhancements.
-Vendor management: Analyze requirements for ATM operations,
negotiate with vendors & set SLAs for cash operations
-ATM management/operations: -
Evaluate/monitor ATM performance/availability & initiate action
depending on transaction speed & other relevant factors; Propose, manage
& coordinate ATM placement (New installation, relocation &
reinstallation);
-Quality Control: Measuring customer satisfaction by
analyzing the complaints and taking remedial measures.
-Cash management: Ensure timely feeding/ dispensing &
collecting cash to/from all ATM machines & that ATMs are attended within
set time limits
-Limits: Liaise with RBD, contractors & service providers
to ensure limits set are adequate & correct
-Security: Ensure all cash management activities comply with
security guidelines & best practice
-Fraud & loss: Identify potential fraud & loss &
ensure these are investigated & escalated
-Insurance: Manage insurance activities for the machine &
the cash inside it.
-CBE compliance: Ensure compliance with CBE regulations,
& reporting requirements.
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent certification/experience
Experience
• At least 7 years of Experience of bank systems
• Experience in dealing with vendors
• Large scale operational experience
Knowledge
• ATM & Cash Management & Operations
• Knowledge of ATM technology
