Job Summary
The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximizes customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Manage the following teams: Planning, Procurement, Warehouse on an ongoing basis
Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy (planning, procurement, warehousing)
Collaborate with Operations (and Sales/BD), E-commerce and Customer Service teams
Determine, evaluate and report on key supply chain KPIs
Maintain supply chain inventory and records
Suggest and implement solutions for process improvements
Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
Train and evaluate team members
Work with finance, operations, and e-commerce teams to determine best suppliers, vendors and distributors
Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors
Negotiate contractual terms
Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
Evaluate suppliers and qualify new suppliers
Work with Quality team on developing suppliers to meet company standards
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
10+ years' of supply chain experience (requirement can be waived for exceptional profiles)
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
