Duties & Responsibilities
·
Business Insights Associate (BIA)
is responsible for handling Business Insights (BI) key activities focusing on
Therapeutic Areas (TAs) of Scope across (GCC, NEMA & NAF clusters) to bring
key business insights to the attention of relevant stakeholders & to help
driving successful business strategies.
·
BIA will serve the therapeutic area
and brands’ business imperatives in an integrated manner, plan and coordinate
the response to the key business questions for the brand/therapeutic area, by synergizing
the skills and competencies in the fields of Market Research, Analytics,
Forecasting, and Competitive Intelligence.
·
BIA will liaise between Opcos. Core
Value Teams (CVTs) & EMEA BI teams for better strategic alignment,
formulating Brand/s assumptions & competitive landscape understanding.
·
BIA will have an engagement role in
cluster strategic support during Business plan cycle & Market Audit
analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
·
Supports the development of the
Brand Value Plan through synthesizing insights from all channels to incorporate
a 360o view of the internal and external environment and develop
recommendations for business actions.
·
Has a critical responsibility of
Brand/s performance tracking at a cluster level (through Monthly performance
dashboard) & regional level (regional quarterly dashboard, Launch alignment
… ) as well as improving the analytics through using different tools (Market
Audit, Market researches, Patients Trackers, CIE database, Digital platforms
& other Competitive Intelligence data sources).

Supports in forecasting, building
Brand/Therapeutic area assumptions & works closely with CVTs on Key
business questions identification & answering.
·
Proactively detects business needs
and data gap & works through CVTs to plan & implement projects to serve
these business needs.
·
Provides business intelligence
support for Cluster in scope (Such as Strategic Support during Business plan
cycles & generating Market Audit reports & Dashboards..)
·
Proactively liaises with EMEA BI
teams and other Center of Excellence- BI teams to share best practice,
benchmarking & ensure processes harmonization.
·
Connects with Customer Interaction
Excellence team members and supports their initiatives by providing them with
TA point of view
·
Ensures Compliance to all J&J
Guidelines & SOPs: Adverse Event, product quality complaints, IAPP &
HCBI …..

Qualifications
Education:
University degree in a relevant
discipline: Economics, Business administration, Information technology (Pharma.
background applicants are also welcomed) Business Analytics certification is a
plus
Years Of Industry Experience:
1-2 years’ Experience in relevant
scope (Preferably in Pharmaceutical/healthcare company)
Languages:
English (Good command spoken and
written)
Other Job Specific Skills:
·
Advanced level skill set of
Microsoft Office Suite.
·
Good experience in data mining,
spreadsheets, graphs and flow charts.
·
Moderate to advanced Analytical
skills with ability to interpret data into insights & correlating different
data sets
·
Good Presentation, Communication
& Visualization skills (Knowledge in Qliksense, Power BI, Tableau… Would be
a plus)
·
Prior experience in Customer
interaction excellence, Sales force effectiveness &/or Digital analytics
would be also a plus.

Technical/Functional Skills
Required
·
Significant knowledge of and
experience with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Quality
Control and working in a GMP or GLP testing environment and ability to
identify/remediate gaps in processes or systems.
·
Detailed knowledge of compendial
(USP, EP, JP, etc.) requirements and standards for QC testing.
·
Proficient with using Microsoft
Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power point) or other analysis
tools, database, and Internet.
·
Knowledge of the spectrophotometric
and chromatographic techniques (UV -VIS, HPLC-UV)
·
Demonstrates ability to Identify
and troubleshoot equipment problems.
·
Perfect understanding of the good
documentation and data integrity practices.
·
Previous experience in Production,
Quality Assurance or R&D department.
·
Knowledge in microbiological
routine tasks
