The Mercedes-Benz Product Expert is
responsible for becoming
an expert in all Mercedes-Benz products- current models and technology,
upcoming models and technology and over time, all previous
Mercedes-Benz models and technological achievements. Importantly, the
Mercedes-Benz Product Expert is responsible for understanding the differences,
and advantages, of Mercedes-Benz products as compared to it's competitors.

-Profiles the automotive Egypt market and
competitive environment, providing insights that support strategic
decision-making and for use in internal presentations by senior
leadership.
-Creates and updates comprehensive
industry, competitor and customer models including, but not limited to, market share,
growth projections and trends, and -market forces.
-Performs thorough, systematic analysis of
key industry trends; the general social economic and political environment;
legal and regulatory issues;customers; current and potential competitors.
-Provides market and competitive insights
through presentations and reports to the various internal management teams.
-Maintains an in-depth knowledge of
designated markets and trends through reading reports, market research, data manipulation
and financial modeling through different channels.

Buyer"
Scope:
Sourcing and purchasing required quantity
of used vehicles as per the stock requirements and the purchase price advice.
Sourcing and purchasing required quantity

Main Accountabilities:
1. Monitors used automobile market for
trends in vehicle values (Market survey).
2. Attends auctions to buy cars that meet
MB requirements.
3. Appraising the vehicles (Visual
Inspection and test drive).
4. Buying pre-owned vehicles as required
by the Stock Target report and the daily stock availability report.
5. Ensuring that the vehicles are
purchased with all required
6.Completing the negotiation, purchasing
and transfer of legal ownership of the purchased vehicle and providing the
required documents to the Administration
department in order to process the purchase.
7. Manage the liquidation process for
repossessions, trade ins and reject inventory.
8. Prepare weekly/monthly a consolidated
report for the status of al pending/closed trade-in transactions.
