The Position:
As a Logistics Specialist manages the day to day operations related to company’s shipping, receiving and warehouse procedures. In addition, he or she is responsible for creating and following process and procedures for receiving materials/equipment, shipping materials/equipment, repairs and maintaining and counting inventory. Position holder will manage all the project inventory and will be responsible for handling the process of equipment repairs to ensure that a high level of customer service is provided to project staff members and that work complies with given standards.

Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented!
-Assures all warehouse transactions are entered into the system correctly.
-Receiving equipment and supplies.
-Receives, inspects, and opens materials and places in appropriate locations as they arrive from vendors.
-Fulfills equipment orders and stages equipment on shelves.
-Packages and ships outgoing packages.
Determines vendors for transportation requirements such as UPS, Fed Ex, or common carrier, etc., and is responsible for arranging transportation for emergency and critical shipping requirements.
-Stays current with national workplace safety laws with the goal of keeping warehouse space safe and presentable.
-Understands the sales order process that initiates the purchasing process which flows through to receiving.
-Performs and documents inventory adjustments. Seeks ways to reduce the number of adjustments that must be made.
-Manages the physical inventory process including transportation of inventory to other warehouses and remote locations.
-Manages scheduled test counts of inventory, reconciling differences to ensure proper computer inventory records.
-Ensure regular auditing of inventory, reconciling differences to ensure proper computer inventory records.
-Manages the process of equipment repairs and returns for project supplies.
-Ensures timely and efficient handling of return/repair equipment, communication to clients, and correct accounting and documentation.
-Works with vendors to establish effective procedures.
-Works closely with the project management team, accounting issues and processes associated with inventory control.
-Performs additional administrative, facilities and finance duties as needed.
Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid!?
-Proven experience as logistics specialist with strong experience of logistics and customs clearance standards.
-Understands customs clarence processes and procedures for Telecommunications and SCADA systems/equipment.
-Strong understanding of National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) regulations and guidelines.
-Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or vendors.
-Reasoning ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form. -Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
-Excellent computer skills, capability to express complex matters in clear and understandable language, excellent presentation and writing skills.
-Knowledge in work scheduling, progress reporting.
-Team player with excellent interpersonal skill (Vendors, employees, client, sub-contractors etc..).
-Knowledge of warehouse, storage of material, material delivery control and work preparation.
-Very good experience handling Health, Safety & Environmental responsibilities.
Very good level of English in both verbal and writing.
