IT System Engineer Vacancy
Maintenance, upgrade, and design the EBI network infrastructure and associated processes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor and Maintain Network. Monitors and performs upgrades to the IT network at the EBI as necessary.
- Maintain Data Backup. Conducts regular systems checks to verify correct backup operation and verify the functioning of the backup systems.
- Installs hardware and software in accordance with the needs of the network.
- Performs repairs and refers major hardware problems/defective products to vendors for service.
- Help Desk. Provides technical assistance, advice and guidance related to the network system, hardware and software (and provides training/demonstration if necessary) to EBI personnel for problem resolution and effective utilization. If necessary, forwards the issue to the EBI development team (software and some system issues) for resolution.
Education & Experience:
- Sc. Degree, majoring in Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience in related field.
- Ability to understand instructions and communicate in both English and Arabic
Skill & Knowledge:
- Windows Server 2016
- Windows Services CA, Cluster, File, Print & WSUS Services.
- Hyper-V Services.
- Active Directory 2016.
- Exchange Server 2016.
- SharePoint 2016
- System Center Configuration Manager, Operation Manager, Data Protection Manager, Virtual Machine Manager.
- Microsoft SQL 2016.
- Office 365 Cloud.
- Skype for Business.

Application & Database developer
Develops, maintains and updates IT systems for EBI’s specific business needs, thereby supporting effective and efficient business operations for the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- User Needs. In coordination with users, investigate their needs and provide solutions by either creating an in-house program or by facilitating the process for purchasing software from vendors.
- Program Development. Writes, updates and maintains computer programs to perform specific tasks in accordance with EBI’s business needs
- Software Selection. Coordinates software procurement processes and conducts trial runs of software applications to ensure their performance meets EBI’s requirements.
- Implementation. Participates in the implementation process of EBI new systems as a part of EBI digital transformation strategy.
- Vendor Systems Implementation Management. Coordinate the implementation of vendor software for non-technical departments at the EBI (i.e. HITS HR system).
- Program Maintenance. Conducts regular testing of programs to identify and correct any deficiencies and improve their operating efficiency, thereby, ensuring optimum program performance.
- Program Manuals and Documentation. Completes documentation related to program development and program user’s manuals to ensure proper recording and usage.
Education & Experience:
- University Graduate from IT related major (Faculty of Computer and Information Sciences – Computer Engineering –Faculty of Science)
- Minimum 2-3 years of professional IT development is a must.
Skill & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of databases (MS SQL)
- Knowledge of coding languages including C#, ASP.NET, HTML5, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming using .Net technologies
- Knowledge of reporting tools (SQL Server Reporting Services)
- Understanding the full software life-cycle.
- Azure development knowledge is preferable

Motion Graphic designer
Supports the Assistant Manager of the E-learning Department to build all the courses and videos etc. in artistic way to improve work by making it more exciting and helpful using illustration, animation, editing videos and design.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design. Analyze scripts and build storyboard scenes and plan the style for target audience then illustrate and animate education content.
- Curriculum Design and Development. Use the participants’ feedback to challenge design and development review.
Education & Experience:
- Preferable an art college graduate
- 1-3 years of experience in similar projects
Skill & Knowledge:
- Adobe Illustrator, After effect, Photoshop, Premiere, Adobe Audition
- Final Cut and illustration tools are a plus
