Job Summary
Nagwa is looking for a motivated, organized person with a
passion for chemistry and an eye for detail to join forces with us in educating
the world. The successful candidate shall be responsible for reviewing the
Arabic translation of our chemistry content.
Job Responsibilities
- Checking
and editing translated chemistry content to ensure that the correct terms
and symbols are used.
- Ensuring
that the translated content is true to the source.
- Ensuring
that the translated text adheres to our in-house style.
- Setting
up guidelines for the Arabic translation of chemistry content.
- Helping
compile a library of reliable references and sources to be used by the
team.
- Compiling
terms and expressions related to chemistry into glossaries for future
reference.
- Discussing
pedagogical concepts/terminology with the translation and Arabic teams to
produce content in the most accurate and clear form possible.
Qualifications & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s
degree in chemistry or a relative field.
- Masters
degree is a plus.
- 1+
years of experience in a similar role or related.
- Excellent
command of both Arabic and English.
- Excellent
knowledge of chemistry terms and expressions in both Arabic and English.
