We are currently looking for a Senior Quality Officer for our affiliate in Egypt, this position is located in New Cairo, Egypt, and directly reports to Legal, Ethics, Compliance & Quality Director.

The Position

As a Senior Quality Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for Ensuring products and business processes meet Novo Nordisk and Local quality standards, also ensuring that NN Egypt Quality System is always implemented and maintained according to corporate guidelines, along with preparing, reviewing, and approve procedure and content on QualityDocs, ensure affiliate adherence to NN and Local Quality Standards, Follows up on audit findings and corrective action plans.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Act as ISOTrain coordinator for the affiliate and QMS Training in affiliate; deliver training in Novo Nordisk QMS to new employees, Quality Training for Distributor Partners.
Advise and Support affiliate units within QMS in the following activities: Nonconformity, Deviation handling, Internal Complaints, and Change Control.
Evaluation of Transport and Storage conditions for free medical samples and products and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Ensure completeness of records for change control, deviations, document control, and other QA documentation.
Preparation of Quality Agreements & updating them, Participate and performing internal & external audits, and Acting as Local Archive administrator

Some other tasks will be review and approval of repackaging activities provided by distribution partners, Qualification and Validation of Refrigerators, Iceboxes, warehouse, and other facilities and utilities, Review and approval of Calibration certificates of thermometers and Thermos hygrometers and Updating the Master list of external requirements and follow-up with relevant departments in case of new/updated requirements.

Qualifications

We require you to have a minimum of 4-6 years of Quality Assurance and/or quality-related experience in the pharmaceutical industry with progressively increasing responsibility, You hold a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy is a must, Familiarity with local processes and quality systems, with Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Other important requirements are:

you have excellent command over both written and spoken English and Arabic.
Self-managed, strong personal drive, good learning skills, team player, and ability to engage with colleagues and peers toward delivering excellent performance and results.
Personal Time Management, Sets goals & prioritizes tasks for own work on a short-term basis. Meets deadlines & makes regular progress reports on performance. Keeps track & informs management about the fluctuation in workload. Performs well with multitasking. Adjust priorities in accordance with changing circumstances. Keeps all relevant people informed of current & future plans.
Experience in managing quality systems is a must.
Auditing experience is preferable.

About the Department

Legal, Ethics, Compliance and Quality department; the position is reporting to LECQ Director; the department consists of dynamic and diverse team from different backgrounds, working together to oversee affiliate activities and operations and ensure compliance with ethics and quality requirements through developing controls and applying global standards.
